I draw to bring people closer to nature.

My work exists to respect and praise wildlife, to acknowledge the lives animals live independently of us. Through careful, deliberate detail, I aim to show the level of care and attention these beings deserve.

Working purely in monochrome allows the focus to rest on form, structure, and movement, rather than colour or surface beauty. By removing what is immediately “pretty,” I enjoy considering the animal itself: its presence, its anatomy, and its lived reality.

I am particularly drawn to animals in motion, capturing moments that reflect their natural behaviour rather than posed stillness. These drawings are intended to evoke a sense of compassion, respect, and to encourage a quieter, more thoughtful way of seeing the natural world.
